Platy & Swordtail
[Xiphophorus sp.]
Bob & Will
From
left to right, introducing Bob and Will. Again part of my original 5,
Bob and Will are a red wagtail platy and a golden sword-tail
respectively. These 2 fish are of similar species and as such look to
each other as a source of close companionship, and bitter rivalry,
sometimes at the same time... When cleaning the tank, this dynamic duo
will huddle next to each other in ear of me, only to start bickering and
nipping at each other the moment they realize who they're huddling
with. Most of the time though, they're fairly unobtrusive fish and I can
stare at the tank for ages and not notice them. Still, I bought them
for their looks and they do add a certain dynamic to the tank.
These 2 haven't changed significantly over their tenure as my pets, so I don't have many photos of them.
